This manual tells you how to export route files from MyRoute-app to your Harley Davidson Boom Box. These are for the most part translated from Harley Davidson's own manuals.

Please note! There is a distinction between models from before 2019 and devices from the year 2019. For the latest models Harley Davidson has not yet made manuals available and so we cannot share them with you.

We would like to give you the following tips in advance:

  • Always create routes that you will use on your Harley Davidson Boom Box on the HERE map in the MRA route planner;
  • For more information on exporting and 'saving as' in general, see General about exporting (and saving as);
  • For more information on creating, using and adding POIs, see our POIs manual.
  • For specific videos about different navigation systems you can always check out our Youtube channel.

Exporting to HD Boom Box PRE 2019 (route)

General information in advance

  • A route consisting of more than 49 waypoints is likely to freeze in the HD Boom Box infotainment system.
  • If the HD Boom Box crashes, turn off the engine, wait 10-20 seconds, and then restart the engine.
  • The HD Boom Box may be slow to respond when you click a button. Give the system time before clicking multiple buttons.
  • The HD Boom Box infotainment system only includes English as the language available for text and speech.
